BETH KEARSLEY
DOCUMENTARY FILM EDITOR/AE
Beth Kearsley is an emerging film editor and assistant editor from Salt Lake City, Utah. She is a Sundance Institute-supported artist through the Contributing Editor Fellowship and was also a 2022-2023 Karen Schmeer Film Editing Fellow. She has recently finished editing her first feature-length documentary, Wayward (anticipated release 2026), which traces this history of women's professional snowboarding. Some of Beth's other work includes the Academy Awards-Shortlisted Classroom 4 (PBS POV 2025), The Lake (Sundance 2026), Remaining Native (SXSW 2025), PLAN C (Sundance 2023), What Comes Around (TIFF 2022), and Free Chol Soo Lee (Sundance 2022). She has previously worked for the production company Little Monster Films, but now works primarily as a freelancer.
